The annual equine breeding winter block course will take place later this month and prospective participants are being urged to enroll in the course.
Enrolments are being called for the annual equine breeding winter block course, which will take place over three days between May 29 and May 31.
The course, which is restricted to 20 students, will cover a wide range of topics including anatomy and conformation, nutrition, foaling, weaning and reproduction.
The course cost is $250 including accommodation or $150 without.
Priority will be given to trainees enrolled in PrimaryITO’s Level 3 or 4 Equine Breeding.
Enrolments close on Monday, May 15.

NZTBA Winter Seminar
The New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association will also run their winter seminar on Tuesday May 29.
The Seminar will take place at Prince Albert Tavern (75 Victoria Street, Cambridge) and presenters Associate Professor Chris Rogers, Dr Javier Roca Fraga and Yin Ying Chin will discuss topics on optimizing reproduction and growth under New Zealand conditions.
