Already this season, owners who paid up for yearlings in April 2005 have claimed almost $180,000 in bonus prizemoney. They can look forward to two more seasons of bonus racing.
Owners of TBS-qualified three-year-olds have been paid out more than $600,000 and their horses remain eligible until the end of next season.
TBS administrator Sally Cassels-Brown says, "For about a month's training fees, owners get access to a huge pool of extra prizemoney for three years with each qualified horse. A win or a couple of placings in bonus races is real cream on the prizemoney cake and there's no limit on the number of bonuses a horses can earn."
The entry cost is $1125 per yearling and entries close on 30 April.
