The Waikato Branch of the NZTBA is gearing up for this year's New Zealand Bloodstock Breeders' Stakes day at Te Aroha racecourse on Easter Saturday, 7th April 2007.
This popular day, hosted by the Branch, offers a day of high class racing headed by the Group One New Zealand Bloodstock NZ Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes, the country's premier WFA Fillies & Mares race, and a variety of promotions and prize-winning opportunities, none the least of which is the 2007 service nomination to Highview Stud's exciting young stallion Danroad (AUS). The service nomination will be won by an NZTBA member who is present and registers at the Te Aroha function. Each registered member's name will go into a sweepstake draw on the day's feature race and the name attached to the winner of the Breeders' Stakes will claim the prize. The marquee will be adorned with the Highview colours.
The Te Aroha function is not confined to Waikato NZTBA members. All members and friends, or any other interested parties are welcome at an entry fee of $15. There will be a special NZTBA membership offer of $140 which will cover an 18-month period – joining on the day will, of course, give eligibility to enter the prize draw.
