The Rangiora Racecourse Stakeholders are holding an Autumn Ball & Auction to raise funds for projects at the Racecourse. The Ball is on 15 May at the Rangiora Racecourse & the top items for the fundraiser will be auctioned on the night, with their top online bid being the reserve. Our patron, Mark Todd, has kindly donated his jacket & poloshirt from his Sydney Olympic campaign, both clearly autographed.
Sir Patrick & Justine, Lady Hogan have kindly donated a gold plated, mounted & framed shoe from their super stallion, Zabeel.
Other notable horseshoes we have been given are from Grey Way (with photos), Bonecrusher, Xcellent, Rough Habit, Katie Lee, Phelan Ready, Vosne Romanee, Monkey King, Lyell Creek, Auckland Reactor, Christian Cullen, Mr Feelgood, Kiwi Ingenuity & Bettor's Strike. These will all be plated & mounted.
There are trips such as the Mail Boat round Marlborough Sounds, Bluff Oyster Boat with all the oysters you can eat, King fishing trip, Helicopter ride, Dress up as a Crusader, ride the horse & have your photo taken, accommodation for 10 at Donegal House, Kaikoura.
Included in the sports memorabilia is a signed Crusader jersey, a Sevens jersey from the Commonwealth Games Gold Medal winning team, Winsome Bucks rug & much more.
