Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Auckland Branch of the NZTBA has had to postpone its inaugural Auckland Breeding & Racing Awards from Saturday 7th September to Saturday 28th September. The stallion parade at Haunui Farm and Westbury Stud on Sunday 8th September, will still take place starting at Haunui at 10.30am.
With that in mind, we hope you will be able to join us on the 28th to celebrate a great season of success for the Auckland region.
This year for the first time, the Auckland Branch of the NZTBA will be combining our Annual Awards Dinner with racing's Northern Region to celebrate the success of all things thoroughbred in the Auckland area. Breeders will be recognised for their stakes winning horses for the past season and voting is currently underway to find the Northern Region Trainer, Jockey, Owner and Horse of the Year.
Dinner tickets will come with a complimentary ticket to Ellerslie's Life Education Trust Raceday on Saturday 28th of September.
Don't forget, we have special rates available at Ellerslie's Novotel as well as the Sofitel in Auckland City so please feel free to contact me for further information in this regard.
